We are currently hiring a Quality Technician to work Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm! What’s in it for you? Health/Dental/Vision/Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement401K plansPTO and Paid HolidaysAnd more! What you’ll do:Participates as a team member and assists in developing Qualification Plans and R&D Test Requests, to support the Design Review process for new product development.Performs testing as specified in Qualification Plans and/or R&D Test Requests, or otherwise requested.Performs cosmetic inspection on various products to Hoya Quality Standards.Assists in writing Qualification Reports for R&D management.Collects and evaluates data for R&D Test Requests and reports the collected data to the job requestor.Uses the R&D tracking systems to monitor and close out job requests. Qualifications: High School diploma is required with a demonstrated interest in scientific/engineering fields. Associate’s degree in a STEM field is preferred. Working knowledge of R&D equipment and instruments and procedures, and/or cosmetic inspection techniques and standards.Comfortable working with and around chemicals in lab setting.Good communication skills (written and verbal).Mechanical dexterity is preferred, but not required.
